BIO:
Flight Instructor
I obtained my pilot licence in Sydney in 2009. Over the next 6 years, I instructed at two different flying schools in North Queensland. At these small rural flying schools, there was also a lot of interesting charter work, flying to outback stations and remote islands. Out of the many types flown, the majority of my flying experience was accumulated in C152/172/182, Piper Seneca and Piper Navajo.
In early 2016 I relocated to Perth, where I joined one of the oldest and largest flying schools in Australia. I was appointed team leader and supervising instructor. In early 2018, I was part of the P142 organisation transition taskforce. As part of the new P142 flying school restructuring, I took the role of CP/CFI of the Multi-Engine and IFR department.
During my time as the Chief Flying Instructor, I also became a Flight Examiner for Multi Engine and IFR, later adding NVFR.
Airline Pilot
During 2019–2020 I spent a few months in the United States as a regional pilot, flying the Embraer E175 out of Houston and Chicago O'Hare. After returning to Australia during Covid-19, I started FlightTest.Net. I am currently flying the Saab 340 in Perth.
As of 2025, I'm not available for flight tests as I'm not current on EPC.
